Duruitoarea Waterfall
Duruitoarea Waterfall is a natural monument (1 ha reserve) in Ceahlău National Park at 1,247 m on the Rupturii stream. The water drops about 25 m over two steps, and its name comes from its loud, constant roar.

Izvorul Muntelui Lake (Lake Bicaz)
Romania's largest reservoir by surface (32.6 km²), created after the dam was built in 1950–1960 on the middle Bistrița, 4 km upstream of Bicaz town.
Sihla Hermitage
An 18th–19th century hermitage at about 1,000 m in a rocky area of the Stânișoara Mountains. Nearby is the cave where 17th-century Saint Theodora of Sihla, daughter of Joldea Armașu of Neamț Citadel, lived as a hermit.
Bistrița Monastery and Museum Collection
The monastery is a major medieval ensemble: in 1498 Stephen the Great built the bell tower with a chapel on the north side, next to which Petru Rareș raised a princely house, and in 1554 Alexandru Lăpușneanu entirely rebuilt the Church of the Dormition.
Durău Monastery
A convent at the foot of Ceahlău in Durău resort, a listed monument (NT-II-a-B-10607). The ensemble includes the Annunciation church (1835), the house of Metropolitan Veniamin Costachi (1832), the house of monk Varahil Moraru, the abbot's house and wooden (1830–1835) and stone bell towers.
Horaița Monastery
An Orthodox monastery for monks in the forests of Crăcăoani commune, near Horăicioara Monastery. It is part of the monastery circuit between Piatra Neamț and Târgu Neamț.
Pângărați Monastery
The monastery dedicated to St Demetrius was founded by Prince Alexandru Lăpușneanu in 1560. Beneath the church is a former hiding chamber converted into a low vaulted chapel with narthex, nave and altar.
Secu Monastery and Museum Collection
The Church of the Beheading of St John the Baptist was built in 1602–1605 by Nestor Ureche and his wife Mitrofana inside a fortified enclosure; the ensemble is a listed monument (NT-II-a-A-10735).
Sihăstria Monastery
A monastery for monks founded in 1655 by Bishop Ghedeon of Roman, dedicated to the Nativity of the Mother of God (8 September).
Tazlău Monastery
A fortified monastic ensemble with the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God, the ruins of the palace, cellar and refectory, a bell tower, a watch tower and the enclosure wall, all listed monuments (NT-II-m-A-10706).
Gheorghe Ruset Roznovanu Museum, Roznov
Founded in 2002 in the basement of St Nicholas Church in Roznov, where Colonel Gheorghe Ruset Roznovanu built the family crypt.
Aristide Caradja House, Grumăzești
The house where entomologist Prince Aristide Caradja (1861–1955), honorary member of the Romanian Academy, lived and worked stands in the centre of Grumăzești within a small arboretum of centuries-old oaks, ash, hornbeam, chestnut and lime trees.
Museum of Collectivisation in Romania, Tămășeni
Romania's first museum devoted to the collectivisation of agriculture (1949–1962), opened in November 2020 by the Romanian Collectivisation Memorial Association.
