Mihail Sadoveanu Memorial Museum and Visarion Puiu Memorial House

The building was erected in 1937 by Metropolitan Visarion Puiu of Bukovina as a bishop's residence on Vovidenia Hill, 1 km from Neamț Monastery.
From 1944 it was placed at the disposal of Mihail Sadoveanu, who used it as a summer residence and wrote several novels here. Eight rooms are dedicated to the writer (literary salon, study, bedroom, library with his complete works) and one room to Metropolitan Visarion Puiu. The building is a listed monument (NT-IV-m-B-10764).
