Durău Monastery
A convent at the foot of Ceahlău in Durău resort, a listed monument (NT-II-a-B-10607). The ensemble includes the Annunciation church (1835), the house of Metropolitan Veniamin Costachi (1832), the house of monk Varahil Moraru, the abbot's house and wooden (1830–1835) and stone bell towers.
It is a starting point for trails to Duruitoarea Waterfall and Toaca Peak.
