Agapia Monastery Museum and Living Museum
A convent built in 1641–1643, famous for the frescoes painted by Nicolae Grigorescu in 1858–1861; the ensemble is a listed monument (NT-II-a-A-10627).
Its museum, founded in 1927, was the first monastery museum in Moldavia and displays icons, liturgical objects, embroideries, carpets and a room on classic writers linked to Agapia. In 2013 the 'Living Museum' opened in a c. 350-year-old monastic house, where visitors see a working nuns' household.

Agapia Monastery Museum and Living Museum
Patronal feast of the princely church at Agapia din Vale, dedicated to the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel. The foundation of hatman Gavriil Coci (1641–1643), painted inside by a young Nicolae Grigorescu, welcomes pilgrims from all over Moldavia on this day.
