Dimitrie Leonida Hydroelectric Power Plant, Stejaru
The 210 MW plant on the Bistrița, about 15 km from the Izvorul Muntelui dam, is the heart of the Bicaz–Stejaru hydropower scheme completed in 1960.
It is named after engineer Dimitrie Leonida, who conceived the project in the early 20th century. It is not open to the general public but is a landmark of industrial heritage in Neamț.
