Șugău Gorge – Munticelu
A nationally protected mixed nature reserve (IUCN category IV) and Natura 2000 site in Bicaz-Chei and Bicazu Ardelean communes.
The gorge is carved by the Șugău stream into limestone, and the Munticelu area is known for karst formations and caves. Its ecosystems are depicted in the dioramas of the Piatra Neamț Natural Sciences Museum.
