Archiepiscopal Cathedral of Roman – Museum Collection
The St Paraskeva archiepiscopal cathedral was built in 1542–1550 on the site of a stone church founded by Petru I Mușat (1391) and Alexander the Good (1408).
The old complex, a listed monument, comprises five 16th–19th century buildings restored in 1994–2002. Its museum collection shows old books, more than 20 historic vestments and nearly 100 icons.
